TellPip vs Granola
Both take notes of your calls, with no bot in the meeting. Here is what each one does, side by side.
Updated 3 November 2026Where TellPip is different
- 01
It helps you while you speak, not only after.
One shortcut tells you what to say, it answers on its own when someone turns to you, and it sees your screen. Granola writes your notes; during the call you can type questions in its chat.
- 02
Your call audio stays on your computer.
TellPip transcribes on your computer, even on a slow connection, and keeps calls, notes and memory there. Granola transcribes with cloud services and stores notes in its cloud in the US.
- 03
It remembers your clients and your promises.
During the call: “Psst… last time you agreed…”. After it, what you promised, with a reminder on your computer. Granola groups notes by person and, on the Business plan, gives a brief at the start.
- 04
Your calls don’t train any AI.
TellPip never uses your data to train AI. Granola may use anonymised data by default, unless you opt out.
